Sometimes it's nice when the phone rings, I'd responded to some one looking for some foley. I do a lot of foley, but its almost always for projects I'm mixing, so I'm pretty efficient, Brian was on the end of the line and he explained that his regular was away, I had to 'fess up immediately how my methods are unconvertional, I have a ton of patches I have made over the last 10 or 15 years. I'd started doing these when I was working on animated series. ( mouk being the first ) They were ok for kids cartoons at first, and I got my staff to make them, but I really stared to develop them doign WPK ( world Peace Keepers ) which had a lot of scenes which were supposed to be "reality"
After the kids came, I found myself working at home more and more and realised that with practice I could turn in a decent set of footsteps using my 'kits' , I even started using them for other things, it took a whole and around 300 episodes, but then I realised I was ready to go it alone.
